This service enables remote over-the-air switching between Verizon US (lead carrier) eSIM profiles and international (local carrier) eSIM profiles using GSMA SGP.02 Remote Provisioning Architecture for Embedded Universal Integrated Circuit Card (eUICC) for M2M deployments. Note that consumer eSIM architecture (SGP.22) is not supported by Global IoT Orchestration APIs. International carrier eSIM profiles enable IoT devices to establish native connections with local carrier networks. Through remote eSIM profile switching (eSIM localization), devices connect as home network subscribers rather than roaming devices. This approach benefits latency-critical IoT applications by minimizing round-trip communication delays and provides energy efficiency advantages for power-constrained IoT devices like utility meters. **Device Requirements:** IoT devices must receive Verizon Open Development certification as eUICC-enabled devices with cellular frequency band support for target deployment countries. Verizon eSIM profiles require bootstrapping, activation, and enablement on IoT devices prior to downloading and activating international (local carrier) eSIM profiles through Verizon. **Account Requirements:** Contact your account manager to add Global IoT Orchestration to your account. Following account onboarding, you can utilize the APIs detailed below for IoT device eSIM profile management. New ThingSpace API users can access [tutorials and videos](https://thingspace.verizon.com/documentation/get-started/tutorials-videos.html) for getting started guidance. ThingSpace Manage support for Global IoT Orchestration is planned
